Daniel Basurto Gonzalez


Graduated from the Anahuac University, Honorable Mention in 1983; He has been a professor and coordinator of Diplomas in Environmental Law at various Private Universities in the country; In more than 30 years of experience in the environmental field, its most representative activities are: 


1. President of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Academy of Environmental Impact, SC (AMIA). 2019-2021
2. President of the Environment and Energy Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce, Mexico Chapter (ICC Mexico). 2007-2019
3. Coordinator of the Environmental Law Commission of the Mexican Bar Association, AC (BMA), (2006-2010).
4.  President of the CONCAMIN Ecology Commission (2001 - 2005).
5. Member of the Joint Public Consultative Committee (JPAC/CCPC), of the Parallel Agreement on Environmental Matters of the FTA (1999-2002). 
6. President of the National Ecology Commission of COPARMEX (1998 – 2001).
7. Advisor and Consultant to National and Multinational Companies in Environmental and Energy Law.
8. Consultant in the development of Laws, Regulations and Official Norms.
9. Observer of the Private Sector within the CIF (Climate Investment Funds) of the World Bank. (2017 to date)
10. Active member of international organizations such as the International Bar Association (IBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA).
11. Constant author of articles on the environment in specialized magazines and publications in the field.
